How to connect a GoDaddy domain to your DataSphere website

IF YOU PURCHASED A DOMAIN FROM GODADDY, YOU CAN CONNECT IT TO YOUR DATASPHERE WEBSITE IN A FEW SIMPLE STEPS.

2) Click on 'Domains'

3) Locate the domain that you want to connect to your DataSphere website.  Click on 'Manage DNS

9) Change the 'Points to' field to 216.182.93.152 and then click the Save button.

10) Locate the row that includes Type=CNAME and Name=www.   Make sure that the 'Value' field equals @.  If it doesn't click on the 'Edit' icon and update it.

THAT'S IT!  YOU'RE DONE.

KEEP IN MIND THAT IT MAY TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS FOR THE CHANGES TO TAKE EFFECT.

8) In the 'Records' section, locate the row that includes Type=A and Name=@.  Click on the Edit icon

IMPORTANT NOTE:   Make sure that you have sent us the domain that you will be connecting.  We need to set up a few things on our end before you can connect your domain.

4) If you see data in the 'Records' sections, proceed to step #8.  Otherwise, follow the steps below to change the Nameservers.

5) In the 'Nameservers' section, click on the 'Change' button.

6) Change the type from 'Custom' to 'Default' and click the 'Save' button.

7) You should now see the default GoDaddy nameserver values (e.g. ns57.domaincontrol.com). Your specific values may be different.

After a few minutes, refresh the page and you should see the 'Records' section.
